Sina Privacy Policy — 30 September 2026
Contact: info@sinapp.com. Sina is a learning assistant and does not require an account.
AI processing: Only after your explicit consent, submitted photos, questions, conversations, relevant lesson content, language, explanation level and an optional name are processed on our Cloudflare infrastructure and sent to OpenAI to provide answers. Do not include unnecessary personal or sensitive information. AI responses may be inaccurate.
Device data: A random installation/chat identifier supports service operation and abuse prevention. If you enable notifications, a push token and installation identifier are sent to our Cloudflare server and Apple to deliver lesson-ready notifications. These are not used for advertising. Network providers may process IP addresses and technical logs for security and operation. Sina does not use advertising trackers.
Camera and audio: Only photos you choose are submitted. Microphone input is transcribed on the device, only with your permission; review the text before sending it. If local speech recognition is unavailable, type instead. Lesson narration is generated on the device.
Storage: Lesson history and photos remain on your device until you delete them, subject to the 50-lesson history limit. Server lesson jobs and results are scheduled for cleanup about seven days after completion or the last processing update. Push registrations expire about 28 days after their last update. OpenAI, Cloudflare and Apple apply their own retention and security policies; their links are provided below. Data may be processed outside your country.
Your choices: Withdraw AI consent in Settings to block future requests and cancel device connections. This cannot recall data already received or stop all server processing. Delete local lessons in History. For access or deletion of server data, email info@sinapp.com with the lesson identifier if available; do not send additional sensitive content. Removing local history does not itself delete server copies. Camera, microphone, speech and notification permissions can be changed in iOS Settings.

Subscriptions and daily allowance: Apple and RevenueCat manage purchases. We use a subscriber ID derived from Apple’s app-specific transaction identifier and your purchase status. Our Cloudflare backend verifies the Apple-signed app transaction; we do not receive your Apple Account email or password. Devices using the same App Store account share subscription access and daily allowance. Questions, photos and conversations are not sent to RevenueCat. All question modes share the daily allowance, which resets at 00:00 UTC. Our backend stores the daily counter and question fingerprints; question records are removed after approximately 7 days. Subscription providers apply their own retention policies.
